History

The Knight Commander class was added in the year 1973. An Order of merit. This class is only awarded to twenty-seven living persons.

The breast star is added here as a precautionary measure, as there is little evidence to support that it exists as a component of the order, although it would follow a pattern set by different orders of the state.
