History

This order, also known as "Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia" was founded in honour of Sultan Muhammad I in 1916. This order is awarded to those showing loyalty and conscientious service. Men's ribbon is a sash and women's ribbon is a bow. The Knight Grand Commander class is awarded to forty living persons.

The Commander Badge has six white enamelled arms with a gilt centre circle bearing the Jawi cypher and inscription. It is surmounted by a small crown.
