History

The Order was established by King Rama V to commemorate the Bangkok Centennial, and it is conferred upon members of the Royal Family and foreign Heads of State. The Order may be awarded to both men (Knight) and women (Dames).

There may be a discrepancy in size between the Order grades awarded to men versus those awarded to women.

When the pendant is awarded to a woman, it is called a Dame Pendant and is worn with a bow ribbon.

There is a Thai inscription on the obverse of the pendant.

There is limited information available concerning this Order.
