History


This medal was conferred upon Officers of the Frontier Corps in recognition of gallantry and long service.

It was also awarded to Bulgarians and foreigners for service and co-operation with the Frontier Corps.

The based off a design by Stefan Nenov, and it was discontinued in 1991.
