History


This medal was conferred in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Bulgarian Military overthrowing Nazi Germany. It was awarded to Bulgarian military personnel and civilians who served against the Germans, and to relatives of individuals killed during battle.

The medal was also awarded to foreign citizens that aided in the fight against fascist Germany.

It was designed by Raycho Peev, and it was discontinued in 1991.
