History


This medal was conferred in recognition of strengthening the relationship between the People’s Republic Military and allied armed forces.

The medal was also conferred in recognition of efforts and collaborations between allied armed forces and Bulgarian personnel that increased the efficiency of the Military.

It was awarded to Generals, Officers, Sergeants, and Non-Commissioned Officers of the Warsaw Treaty.

This design of this medal was created by Raycho Peev, and it was discontinued in 1991.
