Likely of German manufacture, featuring a Ruppert cross in silver and consisting of four white enameled arms, each with green and red enamel bordering, clusters of six individual, hand etched gilt rays in each quadrant, obverse centre presenting the resting figures of Saints Cyril and Methodius on a white enameled background, reverse centre presents the inscription “P.B.E B”, measuring 67.48 mm (w) x 60.31 mm (h), on elongated loop and suspended from period partial original light-orange sash, with light enamel contact, remains better than very fine.
This Order is also known as царски Поръчка на Кирил и Методий.
