History


The Medal for Strengthening the Brotherhood of Arms was established by Presidential Decree in 2012 and is administered by the Minister of Defence. It is awarded to military personnel of the Moldovan Armed Forces, civilian employees of the Ministry of Defence, and foreigners in recognition outstanding military service, as well as the promotion of peace, democracy, and international cooperation.

The Gold Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Strengthening the Brotherhood of Arms."
