The Medal for Promotion by Distinguished Achievement on Campaigns (Medalha dos promovidos por feitos distintos em Campanha) is awarded to Portuguese military personnel in recognition of meritorious leadership on campaigns that has led to a promotion.
It is awarded in a single grade, and ribbons clasps are worn on the ribbon to denote the rank of the recipient. A gold-coloured clasp is awarded to General Officers, a silver-coloured clasp is awarded to Officers, and a copper clasp is awarded to men of other ranks.
The Medal has an obverse inscription that translates to "Promotion for Distinction."
