The Medal for the Auxiliary Division in Spain was awarded to Portuguese military personnel who participated in the First Carlist War (1835-1837) as the Auxiliary Division.

The Copper Medal has an obverse inscription that translates to "Spain," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Auxiliary Division."
