A cross with pointed arm ends in red enamel, with a white enamel Geneva cross, with a laurel wreath in the quadrants between the arms with a white enamel banner with the inscription AMADEO I A LOS VOLUNTARIOS DE LA LIBERTAD, the reverse is the same but with the inscription
29 SETBRE 29 ENERO 1871, with suspension loop, on a black ribbon with red trim.

History


The Volunteers of Freedom Cross was awarded to the forces within the citizen militia, or volunteers of freedom, in recognition of meritorious performance between September 29, 1869-January 29, 1870.
