A clasp with a raised border, constructed of black lacquered iron. The obverse features the inscription ‘10 Dienst Jahre’ (10 years of service). The reverse features a horizontal pinback. On a ribbon bar, the ribbon in dark red with broad white side stripes.
The Military Long Service Bar in Iron for 10 Years was founded by Landgrave Ferdinand and was conferred upon Non-Commissioned Officers and enlisted men who rendered 10 years of faithful military service.
