Long Service Cross for Female Servants, in Gold for 40 Years
Estimated market value:
The Cross was instituted by Grand Duchess Elisabeth and was conferred upon female servants and labourers who rendered 40 years of unblemished service in a public or private field of employment.
On May 2, 1918, the award statues were changed and it was determined that only individuals who were not citizens of Mecklenburg-Strelitz could receive the Cross.
