History

The Battle for Paris Victory Medal was established by King Friedrich I alongside the Le Fère-Champenoise Victory Medal. It was founded as a commemorative medal for the Battle of Paris, which was fought between the French and a coalition force from the Austrian Empire, the Kingdom of Württemberg, the Kingdom of Prussia, and the Russian Empire.

The Silver Medal was conferred upon enlisted personnel who demonstrated bravery and merit during the siege.
