The Le Fere Victory Medal was instituted on April 16, 1814, by King Friedrich I of Württemberg. It was established as a commemorative medal for the Battle of Fère-Champenoise and Paris, which was fought between the French and a coalition force from the Austrian Empire, the Kingdom of Württemberg, the Kingdom of Prussia, and the Russian Empire.
