Order of San Marino - Military Commander's Cross - Military. GOLD and enamels, unmarked, weighing 33.5 grams, 60 mm x 88 mm inclusive of crown suspension, portrait of San Marino (obverse) and the Coat of Arms (reverse), slight hairline cracks, however exceptionally quality, of Italian manufacture, with crisp colours, very fine.

History


The Order is conferred upon military personnel for outstanding military service to the Republic, as well as meritorious service within scientific, political, humanitarian, and artistic endeavors.

There are many variations of this Order; some feature a crown.
