Medal. Silver. 35mm. 22.6gm. Unsigned. To Commemorate the Liberation of Serfs, 1861. Alexander II bust r./ Serf kneeling beneath three saints in the cloud. Rainbow toning, brilliant.
This medal was conferred upon those members of the Reform Committees and those who had drafted Statutes.
The obverse inscription translates to: "I am Thankful 19 February 1861". The reverse inscription translates to: "For Endeavors Towards the Emancipation of the Serfs".
