This medal was instituted in commemoration of the 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War. The Dark Bronze Medal was conferred upon members of the clergy and medical personnel who were on active duty in the eastern Siberian regions near the war zone.
The obverse is dated "1904-1905 ". The reverse inscription translates to: "May God Resurrect You When Time Comes".
