The Irreproachable Service in the Armed Forces of the USSR Medals awarded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR (MVD) and the Ministry for the Protection of Social Order of the USSR (MOOP) were established in 1958. The II Class medals were awarded for 15 years of service.

The Type I medals were awarded from February 25, 1958 until May 2, 1960 and again from 1968 until 1991. These medals have the Cyrillic letters for MVD USSR at 6 o'clock.

The inscription on the reverse translates to "For 15 Years of Irreproachable Service".
