Physical Description and Item Details


Tamgha-e-Jaloos 1342 Hijri. Instituted in 1924. In bronze, measuring 36.5 mm in diameter, bar suspension with its original ribbon, identification label in German affixed to the reverse of the ribbon, edge nicks, spotting on the obverse, very fine.

History


The Installation Medal 1925 (Tamgha-e-Jaloos 1342 Hijri) was instituted by Sadiq Muhammad Khan V in commemoration of his investment with full ruling powers on March 8, 1924, after succeeding the throne in 1907 at the age of three. The Medal is awarded in 3 Classes.

The III Class is composed of bronze.

The reverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "Accession 1342 Hijri, 1924 A.D." and " God God and the Prophet who is the Servant of God. Haji Mohammed Abbasi Fifth, Ruler of Bahawalpur."
