A five point silver star with crossed sabres, the center obverse presents a red enamelled disc with a gilt wreath around the edge and the inscription "Shujaat" in the center. The reverse is plain. The badge is surmounted by a star and crescent. It measured 39mm from sabre tip to sabre tip.
The obverse features the Arabic inscription for "Shujaat" which translates to "Bravery." It is worn on a blue ribbon with two white stripes along each edge.
