History

The Order of Abassia (Imtiaz-i-Abbasia) was instituted by Nawab Al-Haj Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V, Abbasi, between 1920 and 1930. The Order was created in honour of Nawab Al-Haj Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V's dynasty and is conferred in 5 Classes to reward personal and public services performed in all fields of endeavour.

The III Class Commander is worn from a neck ribbon. A Breast Star may also be authorized for wear with the III Class Commander Neck Badge, but more research is needed to confirm. The III Class badge wreath does not have any enamelling.

The obverse features a Persian inscription "Sadiq Dost" which translates to "Sincere Friend."
