History

The Order of the Sadul Star of Bikaner was founded by Maharaja Sadul Sainghji in November 1947. The Order was conferred in 5 Classes. A special class reserved for the Maharaja may also exist, but additional research is necessary to confirm.

Ladies are also eligible for the award of the Order of the Sadul Star of Bikaner.

8 awards of the IV Class Officer are known to have been made.

The IV Class Officer is worn by women by a bow on the shoulder and by men from a neck ribbon.

The obverse features both English and Sanskrit script which reads "In the Service of My People." The Badge Appendant is surmounted by the royal cypher "S" for Maharaja Sadul Singhji, which is surmounted by a crown suspension.
