This medal was established by Maharaja Bhupendra Singh. It was conferred in commemoration of the 1933 marriage of Yuvraj Yadavendra Singh, his Heir Apparent.
The reverse Devanagari and Gurmukhi inscriptions translate to "Marriage [of] Crown Prince". It is also dated in Gurmukhi, which translates to "February/March 1933 A.D.".
